One hard act to follow – French artist Abraham Poincheval entombed in a rock for a week
You may think it is a cracking story, or the man at the centre of it is just cracked, but it is definitely one hard act to follow.
French artist Abraham Poincheval has been entombed in a rock for a week. The stunt will see him try to use his body heat to hatch a dozen eggs.
Poincheval was enclosed in the 12 tonne boulder at Paris’ modern art museum on Wednesday. He is set to emerge after seven days with the chicks.

But is it possible for the aviation industry to grow and for Europe to achieve its sustainability targets? And with increasingly unpredictable geopolitics posing a threat to the continued supply of fuel, how will the industry power its planes?
Recent events have seen the cost of oil go over $100 a barrel which has led to jet fuel doubling in price, jumping from $750 to $1,500.

All people have a national identity and that is their place of birthright. The EU neoliberals deliberately confuse nationality with heredity (race) which is the inherited identity and traits of their parents. The true difference is that the EU promotes federalism without itself having a national status or national democracy. National democracy is the universal right of national self-determination by public ballot, as occurs in the USA which does have a nation status (American). The European (EU) electorate are denied the national right of self-determination (national democracy) simply because the EU is not a nation. However, you cannot have national-democracy without national status. This means that the EU can never be truly democratic without declaring itself a nation. From that moment on it would itself have a national identity and the electorate thus become nationalists. This action would reduce national governments to a local-government status (council) without national power. Therefore, the electorate of each and every member-state would cease to have a separate national identity.
