http://www.FashionTV.com/videos MILAN – FashionTV has your behind-the-scenes look at the Prada show during Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012-2013.

The colorful makeup look on models like Natasha Poly and Kinga Rajzak is on display for all to see and FashionTV has the highlights on what Makeup Artist Pat McGrath did to get it on the girls. (0:25) “It’s a very strong makeup,” she says, “We’re doing virtual princesses.” She calls it a kind of unreal look. The look is a strong black eye with orange in the eyebrows, and purple and black under the eyes with white accents. It really is “an amazing new eye this season.”

Hairstylist Guido Palau also referred to virtual beauties when he was designing the hair look based on what designer Miuccia Prada wanted for the collection. (1:33) “It’s the idea of perfection in a kind of animated way,” he says. The look is simple but colored pieces give it some life. It’s an idea of a computer drawing of hair.

W Magazine Editor-In-Chief Stefano Tonchi calls this season’s collection “quintessential Prada” and says it spells out to him the ABCs of Prada. What are the ABCs of Prada? Structure, ornament and prints. Model Madison Hedrick feels blessed and honored to be walking in Prada during her first season on the runway. (2:59) There’s almost a cartoonish and an Oriental element to all the pieces from the massive prints to the cinched waists, to the slightly clown-inspired flatforms.

Appearances: Natasha Poly, Kinga Rajzak, Ruby Aldridge, Pat McGrath (Makeup Artist), Cora Emmanuel, Irina Kulikova, Guinevere van Seenus, Emily Baker, Lindsey Wixson, Guido Palau (Hairstylist), Magdalena Frackowiak, Stefano Tonchi (W Magazine), Madison Headrick, Julia Nobis, Olivier Zahm (Purple Magazine), Anne Christensen (New York Times), Kasia Struss, Ginta Lapina, Franca Sozzani (Vogue Italia), Miuccia Prada

Wearable Desirability by Iceberg, Milan Fall/Winter 2025-26 | FashionTV | FTV

Published

on

Experience the vibrant collision of Italian attitude and English tradition as Iceberg showcases its energizing Fall/Winter 25 collection at Milan Fashion Week! Creative director James Long has masterfully interwoven knitwear expertise, tailoring, and a sporty edge, presenting a collection that pulsates with energy and positivity. The heart of Iceberg’s heritage — knitwear — is pushed to new limits, showcasing diverse stitches, techniques, and treatments, blended with playfully subverted tailoring. Expect to see a range of city-smart pieces designed for both wearability and desirability, from oversized rib knits with nautical stripes to tailored pants with mock-croc belts. Bonded fabrics, raw edges, and faux leather trims add a contemporary twist to classic silhouettes, while eyelet-punctuated shirts and dropped-stitch sweaters infuse a London posh-punk aesthetic. The collection’s color palette, featuring plays on blue, pinkish grey, and tweedy mustard, complements the diverse textures and silhouettes, ranging from lightweight faux leather jackets to oversized intarsia wool check coats. With a focus on super-wearable pieces, like bonded wool city coats and crackle faux leather jackets, Iceberg’s FW25 collection delivers a powerful statement of modern, versatile style.
