The EU has hosted the latest in a series of talks between Hashim Thaçi, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, and Serbia’s Prime Minister Ivica Dačić.
The meeting is believed to be an important one for Serbia, which is eager to start official talks on EU membership.
Kosovo declared independence in 2008. The fragile relationship between the two countries has started to improve since an EU-brokered deal agreed in April.

Portugal is struggling under the grip of austerity as it battles to get its economy back on track.
For the moment there is no indication the centre-right coalition government will change course from its goal of ending the bailout deal by mid-2014.
The country has been described as the ‘good pupil’ for carrying out bail-out demands – but its people are fed up with bearing the brunt of the tough measures.

US blogger uncovers fake Apple stores
Sydney, Barcelona and Milan have all seen new Apple stores open this year.
But it’s unlikely the Chinese city of Kunming was on the tip of Steve Jobs’ tongue when deciding where to sell the company’s hi-tech wares.
An American blogger correctly suspected three stores in Kunming in the southwest Yunnan province were fakes. Even staff were perplexed.
“I don’t think you can say we are a fake Apple store because we sell real Apple products. Now whether we are licensed or not, I don’t know. Only the boss knows about this,” said one employee.

Nokia launches ‘last chance’ phone
http://www.euronews.com/ Nokia is unveiling its most powerful smartphone ever on Wednesday in what may be the struggling Finnish company’s last major shot at winning back a market lost to Apple, Samsung and Google.
The stakes are high for both Nokia and Microsoft.
The new Lumia runs the latest Windows Phone operating software which Microsoft hopes will rival Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android which currently dominate the market.
If the new phones do not appeal to consumers, it could spell the end for loss-making Nokia and deal a serious blow to Microsoft’s attempts to regain its footing in the market.
Nokia has posted more than three billion euros in operating losses in the past 18 months, forcing it to cut 10,000 jobs and pursue asset sales.
Its share of the global smartphone market has plunged to less than 10 percent from 50 percent during its heyday, before the iPhone was launched in 2007.
Windows phones have only captured 3.7 percent of the global smartphone market, according to Strategy Analytics. Android phones have 68 percent, while Apple has 17 percent.
