They completed this in less than 2 weeks!! It usually takes several months.
I know he wants to speed the procedure up, but they will have to do all the paperwork and do all the work that every other country have done. There is no "special admittance procedure" — there is no "fast-tracked membership."
1. Do the work.
2. Candidate Status by July/Aug/Sep timeframe.
3. Continue doing the work.
4. Accession Negations in 2024.
5. EU Member, official, as early as 2026. (About 4 years total starting from the date of application).
Mr. President of Ukraine – Stop making comments like, "…….We need a direct path for EU membership."
Yes, do the work! I feel that is being rude to people like Ersula, the President. She has been by Ukraine's side since day 1.
Also, a lot of the reforms and rooting out corruption will help with NATO membership.
Stop making comments like, :"…….we need a direct date/path for NATO membership."
The path is the same…DO THE WORK..REFORM….ROOT OUT THE BAD.
NATO membership after the war is over.
Please do not make some unnecessary expectation for the NATIO Summit in Washington, D.C., in 2024. There is no fast path to NATO! It's after the war and the needed reforms done (same for EU membership).

The EU can't afford another "beneficiary" country, it needs another "contributing" country. The EU is down to 10 contributing countries and 18 beneficiary countries. That is unsupportable as it is, adding another beneficiary will hurt every other country.

putler must feel jealous as hell with Zelenskyy proving himself to be a better leader in good times and bad. This war will not last forever, and after all is said and done Ukraine will recover faster, better and with a more robust economy than putler could ever dream of achieving.

There could possibly be a massacre of non-whites in the EU if Ukraine joins EU or NATO. The former leader of Azov, Andrew Biletsky had said in 2010 that the nationโs mission was to โlead the white races of the world in a final crusadeโฆ against Semite-led Untermenschen [subhumans]โ. Already racism is on the rise in all EU countries. An even worse scenario for the non-whites if it also joins NATO. One only needs to look at the past of NATO with all these men such as Hans Speidel, Adolf Heusinger, Friedrich Guggenberger, Hennig Strumpell, Franz Josef Strauss. NATO is no longer a defensive alliance but an offensive military alliance and its scope is not just limited to NATO member countries but has interfered in countries such as Serbia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Libya, Bosnia and Herzegovina to name a few. Instead of being disbanded after the collapse of the USSR and being integrated into UN peacekeeping, it now has ulterior racist motives.
