Which Brazilian WASN’T in the Animale show at Sao Paulo Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2013? The model that led the pack was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who’s been a fixture at the front of Animale for a few seasons now. She may not be Brazilian, but she’s got world renowned model staying power and the brand is lucky to have her. With a theme called Night Safari, the Animale brand honed in on their excellent use of fabrics including everything from leather to silk to raffia. And somehow they took to the idea of Night Safari, without the cliched stereotypes one would automatically assume would come from that kind of theme, including their use of laser cut leather. Kudos to Animale for going above and beyond.
