European markets open with positive signs
European markets opened on Thursday showing stock index futures rose indicating shares would bounce from the previous day’s two-year closing lows.
In Frankfurt, the major index regained lost ground while there were similar stories in France, London and Milan. In Madrid the share index was also on the up.
Analysts reacted with caution to the early signs after rumours of a French sovereign debt downgrade had caused Wednesday’s slump.
