Maybe, according to designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, who seemed to take their brand Rag & Bone and infuse their layered basics with pops of color that made for clothing that was both easy-to-wear and statement making at New York Fashion Week. We thought menswearish pieces were made for Fall, but the designers somehow made it perfect for Spring 2013, blowing up the jackets and opening the button down shirts to give the pieces a sexy vibe, not a structured one. Pinstripes were in cooler tones like gray and not stiff black and white. And when the colors came into play, they added a dash of sportswear chic and casual cool.
