The amfAR Foundation is celebrating 25 years in their creation to help the fight against AIDS. The amfAR gala is held annually in various locations to benefit the amFAR Foundation which raises money for AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment, and public policy. Hofit Golan hosts the big event for FashionTV. “It’s a great foundation. We’re doing great work. We’re in a critical time in the world for AIDS,” says Foundation head Kenneth Cole. The Gala always brings the biggest stars including Lindsay Lohan, Anja Rubik, Natasha Poly, and Heidi Klum. Golan has an exclusive interview with supermodel Heidi Klum and Margherita Maccapani Missoni, the face of the top Missoni brand. Model Izabel Goulart wears Emilio Pucci. Top model Chanel Iman wears Dsquared2 from head to toe. A high-end auction with items like a blown up portrait of Elizabeth Taylor, is held to collect money for future AIDS research.
