http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS – Lace, sequins and crystal-embelished gowns took over the runway during the Fall/Winter 2012/13 Elie Saab show at Paris Couture Fashion Week. Model of the moment, Karlie Kloss, set the tone for the collection by opening the show in a black lace, floor-length gown doused in crystals and sequins. Makeup was subtle; light peach lips and blush. The models’ hair was tightly french-braided and piled in the back. The show transitioned from black lace to a pastel palette including whites, nudes, pinks, peaches and blues. The show focused on bejeweled bodices, plunging necklines, open back details, heavy embellishments and sheer fabrics. While keeping true to the brand’s red-carpet nature of glamour and show-stopping details, the collection remained refined and elegant.
