🔴 Official commemorations are taking place as Norway marks the 10th anniversary of the July 22, 2011 right-wing terror attack in Oslo, where Anders Behring Breivik set off a car bomb outside the government headquarters, killing eight people and wounding dozens. Later, dressed in a police uniform, Breivik opened fire on the annual summer camp of the left-wing Labor Party’s youth wing at the island of Utoya. Sixty-nine people were killed, most of them teenagers, before he surrendered to the police.

Renowned Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja among missing climbers after avalanche on Broad Peak

Nepal’s Nirmal Purja, who led the expedition of 10 climbers, set a world record in 2019, becoming the first person ever to climb all 14 of the world’s highest peaks surpassing the 8,000 metre mark, in just 189 days.
