Iceland PM storms out of interview when questioned re. tax haven
The Prime Minister of Iceland, Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson, refused to answer questions posed by a SVT reporter, who asked him about his involvement with offshore companies.
When asked about his company, Wintris, who the reporter alleges “holds claims in the collapsed banks”, Gunnlaugsson replies: “You’re asking me about things I haven’t acquainted myself with”.
The interview, conducted yesterday (3 April), took place while international media coverage on the Panama-files, the biggest document leak in history, was released and featured by many news outlets.
