http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS – Designer for Costume National, Ennio Capasa minimilized the fashion house’s traditional avant-garde garments by cutting them in half and combining together other pieces. Capasa introduced his Spring/Summer 2013 collection during Paris Fashion Week where inspiration was derived from the images of Toilet Paper, the famous photo journal by artists Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari. The catwalk was filled with vertical and horizontal combinations, half tuxedo jackets, clever half skirts and plenty of other asymmetrical halves. There was a lot going on with half halters or bustiers, as well as dominatrix bras and belted straps, overall, it was a story of obscure proportions. Many of the looks were cut from black, red, white and navy blue fabrics and some even included loud shades of fuchsia creating a more cheerful appeal to the collection. Noteworthy pieces included the finale which was a cut in half caped long gown that the crowd could not keep their eyes off!
