Meet the guerrilla gardeners rewilding San Francisco with joy | Low Impact Living by Euronews Green
Shalaco and Phoenix of SF in Bloom found social media fame after they began sharing their unusual methods for rewilding San Francisco.
Armed with parmesan shakers – and occasionally repurposed water guns – the pair hit the California streets, spreading native, non-invasive wildflower seeds in patches of empty land.
They’ve brought joy to their communities, provided a space for vital pollinators – and built an army of fans online.
We spoke to them about their journey with sustainability…and their lifelong love of plants!
