http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK – We all know Victoria Beckham can dress well, but in the past year, she’s proven that she can design well too. While yes she does have an advantage having celeb pals like Eva Longoria wearing her dresses, we’re pretty sure those celebs wouldn’t be wearing them if they weren’t worth wearing. But can she do it again this season–showcasing two lines at New York Fashion Week, a place that she feels defines her character, though not necessarily her British sensibility. It’s not only about dresses this season for Beckham, though she knows those will sell out in a flurry. She gave it to them, though she kept the Victoria Beckham aesthetic intact: solid colors and crisp, luxe fabrics were mixed with flats (a departure for Beckham who’s known for heels), cutouts (a trend of the season, this time in blazers) and combinations of colors like black, white and red, though no prints were found. Even with the newness, those long jackets, pants, and lace shift dresses still felt distinctly Victoria Beckham.
