EDELINE LEE Explores Ballet, Repetition & Sculptural Movement for S/S 27 | London Fashion Week

Published

Witness struggle transformed into breathtaking art – watch the Edeline Lee spring/summer 2027 London showcase now on FashionTV!

London-based designer Edeline Lee tackles the myth of Sisyphus through the intense, beautiful lens of classical ballet. Unveiled at London Fashion Week inside a school gymnasium, the collection and accompanying film, directed by Ne-o with choreography by Xolisweh Ana Richards, honors the relentless repetition, athleticism, and unseen labor required to achieve a single moment of pure ecstasy.

Translating the rigors of the rehearsal room into high-fashion precision, Edeline Lee experiments with lightness, structural movement, and signature textiles. Flou Bubble Jacquards are engineered into stiff black tutus, while slouchy practice sweaters, macrame ovals, and hand-trimmed purple blazers echo the discipline of dancewear.

Fluid Crinkle Georgettes in turquoise, lilac, and emerald pop against a classic palette of black, ivory, camel, and red – delivering a poignant, triumphant ode to human resilience: “Plus d’energie. Plus de vie!”

FLORIANA: Eco-Gothic Sublime for S/S 27 | Milan Fashion Week

Redefine your perspective on future skins – watch Florania on FashionTV!

Presented at Spazio LineaPelle during Milan Fashion Week, Florania’s S/S 2027 collection, “Surfacing”, explores the tension between humanity, nature, and modern dystopia.

Drawing from “eco-Gothic” literature and the image of a storm-tossed Italian lake, founder Flora Rabitti channels the romantic sublime – nature in all its majesty and terror – into experimental, tactile garments that act as new skins. In partnership with LineaPelle Designers Edition and featuring a footwear collaboration with Crocs, the collection translates geological and botanical erosion directly onto textiles.

Airbrushed leathers mimic weathered crusts and sediments, while open-structure knitwear and frayed silks resemble stranded seaweed, ropes, and sea foam. A mineral palette of bone, ash grey, anthracite, and midnight blue is disrupted only by cochineal coral—offering an optimistic, provocative statement on how the clothes we wear can project vital social dialogue faster than words.

Tune in to FashionTV for exclusive front-row access to Stella McCartney’s groundbreaking spring/summer 2027 presentation!

Presented on the Paris Fashion Week runway, Stella McCartney’s S/S 2027 collection confronts a profound question: when does a living creature become a mere commodity? Turning her lens toward the ocean, Stella invites us to see the sea not as an infinite resource, but as a fragile, breathing ecosystem threatened by pollution and human indulgence. Proving once again that luxury never requires destruction, the collection is crafted entirely from 100% responsible materials, resurfacing iconic archival silhouettes, prints, and techniques to reinforce the house’s founding non-violent ethos.

The collection submerges the runway in oceanic movement and palette, shifting from seafoam, sage, and deep blue to warm coral, blush, and rich chocolate. Signature Savile Row-inspired tailoring is renewed via soft RWS-certified wool jackets with dropped lapels, while weightless GOTS-certified cotton organza trenches and evening dresses bring an airy, translucent grace.

Sportswear codes clash effortlessly with high fashion, pairing sharp, second-skin leggings with boxy technical outerwear and voluminous trousers. Eveningwear shines with hand-pleated forest-friendly viscose, rippling lace hems, and ombre sequin cascades. From airbrushed dolphin tees and oyster-inspired crinoline knits to transparent Falabella bags made from recycled PET and TPU, summer 2027 delivers an uncompromising message: true beauty is born from compassion.

A legendary runway cast brought it to life: fashion powerhouses Amber Valletta, Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr, and Vivienne Rohner anchored the runway, lending their timeless presence to Stella’s urgent message of ocean conservation.

HUI: Red Threads, Printed Silks & the Art of Evolving Heritage for S/S 27 | Milan Fashion Week

Unfold the mystery of the contemporary East – watch the Hui Milano spring/summer 2027 runway show now on FashionTV!

Unveiled in an ancient Milanese courtyard, Hui’s latest collection, “The Fan Code”, offered a profound reflection on memory, feminine agency, and the continuous evolution of Eastern heritage. Under the creative direction of Huizhou Zhao – a celebrated ambassador of China Style in Italy – the show opened with an evocative performance: a solitary figure navigating a maze of red threads, using the circular fan as a key to unravel the hidden connections between East and West.

Drawing inspiration from the Miao women of Guizhou, who have long preserved identity through ancestral weaving, dyeing, and embroidery, the collection reinterprets ancient craft through a sharp, contemporary vocabulary. Printed silks, sheer organzas, and structured tailoring alternate between fluid movement and architectural rigor.

Rather than treating tradition as a static artifact, Hui transforms heritage into a living language – fragmenting motifs, playing with translucent layering, and proving that true culture is not preserved in the past, but worn and reshaped in the present.

DIOR Reimagines Botanical Romanticism for S/S 27 | Paris Fashion Week

Petal cascades, pajama tailoring, and Tuileries magic – experience Christian Dior S/S 27 on FashionTV!

Unveiled amid camphor trees in the Tuileries Garden during Paris Fashion Week, Jonathan Anderson’s spring/summer 2027 collection for Dior offered a luminous, liberated study in lightness and organic asymmetry. Teasing guests with natural wenwan walnuts enclosed in the show invitations, the presentation signaled a quiet shift away from rigid structural tailoring toward soft, bucolic romance and joyful spontaneity.

Deconstructing Christian Dior’s historic 1947 “”Corolle”” silhouette, Anderson introduced whispering chiffon skirts, silk-petal cascades, and hand-embroidered floral motifs that move with the ease of a breeze. Sharp shoulders gave way to lush, pajama-style blazers with dramatically oversized white cuffs, while architectural knit dresses stood alongside delicate Chantilly lace and metallic-embossed trousers.

Accented by mismatched petal earrings, body chains, and heeled flip-flops, Dior S/S 27 captures a deeply personal, effortlessly cool vision of modern Parisian elegance.
