Just for Laughs: Video of ‘laughter yoga’ session in Vietnam’s Hanoi
At least 200 people gathered in Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi to take part in laughing yoga. They gathered early on Sunday morning in Ly Thai To Park and circled a Christmas tree and began stretching and dancing before laughing. They believe that laughter during yoga enhances their spirit.
Some were dressed in outfits representing Vietnamese society and some were dressed as Santa Claus. “We came here this morning to perform yoga laughing for a happy christmas and happy new year,” said Le Anh Son, leader of laughing yoga. Laughing yoga originally started in the early 1990’s in Mumbai, India.
