Discover how historical romance and dark surrealism collide in the fall/winter 2026-27 haute couture show of Ashi Studio; watch the full show on FashionTV! Celebrating twenty years of the Maison, Mohammed Ashi unveiled “A Different Skin”- a hauntingly poetic Haute Couture fall/winter 2026–2027 collection that transforms fashion into a surreal exploration of identity, armor, and transformation.

Drawing inspiration from Kafka’s Metamorphosis, Salvador Dalí’s legendary masquerade balls, and Victorian court elegance, the show positioned the body as a site of dramatic evolution. Sculptural corsetry with exaggerated hips, towering Elizabethan collars, and carapace-like bodices met delicate, distressed lace, tarnished gold accents, and feather-trimmed edges.

Materials blurred the senses: leather took on the sheen of polished ceramic, shimmery beadwork mimicked crystal glass, and a Venetian mirror sewn onto the back of a gown directly confronted the audience’s perspective. Through an earthy palette of bone, ivory, smoke, and deep velvet black, Ashi Studio delivered a masterclass in armored fragility, proving that true haute couture lies in the art of revealing who we are behind the mask.

Explore the spring/summer 2023 collection of Seafarer unveiled at Milan Fashion Week paying a visit to the showroom and meeting the designer Manuela Mariotti. The collection embodies lightness in skinny, sparkly pinstripes on a dove gray suit; the twinkling sequins on a fisherman knit, and reflected off the surfaces of cool satin cargo pants, and short A-line trenchcoats.
