Get ready to be swept away by Thom Browne’s fall/winter 2025-2026 collection, which transformed New York Fashion Week into a dreamscape under a canopy of 2,000 origami birds. The show, a “symbol of hope,” featured a whimsical parade of models, or “otherworldly visitors,” showcasing Browne’s signature tailored aesthetic with a fantastical twist. Heritage tweeds, bold-shouldered coats, and shrunken argyle cardigans were juxtaposed with cocoon-like jackets inspired by flycatchers and suiting in Browne’s iconic red, white, and blue. Intricate details, such as 3,500 Swarovski crystals forming a trompe-l’oeil suiting dress and gold bullion bird embroideries, highlighted the collection’s artistic craftsmanship. The runway spectacle culminated in a grand ball skirt with 40 meters of heritage tweed, layered under a gold-embroidered suit jacket, embodying the “rare bird” muse.
