Video: China truck loaded with trees destroys toll booth
A truck loaded with trees destroyed a toll booth on Friday in east China’s Zhejiang Province when branches and a loose rope caught onto the structure.
The accident occurred at around 03:00 at a toll station on the Changchun-Shenzhen expressway in the city of Huzhou. The loose rope and tree branches at the back of the truck caught on to the toll booth, pulling it up from its base on an elevated platform.
The truck driver admitted that the size of the trees was some 30 to 40 centimeters wider than the regulated width on each side.
