Jerry Tommolini, for example, with his collection for Agogoa for the Spring/Summer 2012 at Milan Fashion Week creates sophisticated, even daring bathing suits and bikinis that appear as stylish as they are bold. The models are muscular to convey that boldness, and walk with strength as they showcase grayish-blue bikinis to go with their palm tree headwear, chunky necklaces, and fringed heels. Bikinis and bathing suits with stripes are worn with tight form fitting leggings that could as easily be mistaken for clubbing clothes. Some bikinis have embellishments, while others are just sassy–not the typical bikinis you’d seen for a downtown girl down the shore, but for the girl who knows what she wants–who conveys power as well as style. A bit of a nature theme is added to the mix and the result is beachwear you want to wear.
