Floods fail to deter dedicated Thai postman
http://www.euronews.net/ Thailand’s floods have submerged parts of Bangkok but it would take more than that to interrupt the rounds of one intrepid postman.
Somyod Somsamai has been delivering mail in a riverside area of the capital for six years. And if it means getting wet, he is ready to go beyond the call of duty.
“It has become difficult for me to do my job,” he said. “Normally it takes just a short time but now I have got to walk slowly. In fact, I don’t want to come here at all because the water is high but I have to do it because people need their mail.”
