http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK – Top model Coco Rocha is backstage at Theyskens’ Theory show, where even the makeup artist is giving her a quick cosmetics touch up even though she’s not walking down the runway. She also poses with some models walking in the show.

The makeup artist James Kaliardos says the look for the Fall 2012 collection at New York Fashion Week is a look inspired by a girl. “The theory is this, the theory is you’re a young Parisian girl or you’re a cool American girl and you’re going to visit your grandmother to check on her and when you see that she’s ok, you take some things from her closet.” He refers to a cool couture jacket or her makeup. The makeup look is a coppery and shimmery eye that’s like a half-moon on the eye and a lilac lipstick that’s new and matte. A nude lipstick adds contour to the cheekbone. Curled eyelashes and mascara on the top as well as a little sparkle in the corner complete the look.

The hair look according to Odile Gilbert is very straight hair, just blow dried, not flat ironed, with a part and Kerastase used as a mousse. It’s finished off with hairspray. “The Theory girl is a girl from New York in the street. She’s cool, it’s easy,” she says. “It’s like a real thing.”
