Naked protest in Sweden: Chinese dissidents disrupt Nobel Prize ceremony arrivals
Four people from China, four cultural personalities, wanted to draw the attention
today to the fact that Liu Xiaobo still is imprisoned.
At the same time as the guests arrived to the Concert Hall in Stockholm, three
of the Chinese dissidents ran across the square Hötorget, right in front
of the Concert Hall. A fourth person led the evasive manoeuvre.
Last year the Chinese critic Meng Huang ran alone across the square.
Together with the author in exile Liao Yiwu he travelled to Stockholm in order
to draw attention to the fact that Liu Xiaobo, was not able to travel
to Norway and receive the Nobel peace prize in 2010.
This year Meng Huang and Liao Yiwu, together with the poet Bei Ling
and the academic Wng Juntao wanted to remind the world of the imprisoned Liu Xiaobo.
The four men were arrested and left the square in a police car.
