Instagram Reels allows its users instead of deleting a video, trim it in order to get rid of anything at the beginning or end of a video.

Follow these steps and you will figure out how you can do it:

1. Go to the Instagram home tab.
2. Swipe right or hit Your Story in the upper-left corner.
3. Once the camera window opens, press on Reels at the bottom of the screen.
4. Now record a video or upload the one from your camera roll.
5. Click on the arrow button on the left.
6. In order to trim a video, tap the Scissors button.
7. Use the slider to choose what part of a video you would like to trim.
8. Hit Trim in the top-right corner when you finish trimming a video.
9. After that click on the Done button.
10. Tap the arrow button on the right.
11. Now you can edit your video by inserting stickers, drawing or writing something on your video if you want.
12. Hit the arrow button one more time.
13. To post your video, simply press on the Share button. That’s it!
