We’re Positively Changing The Image of Gun Ownership.

Front Sight introduces our new video training series called The Front Sight Reality Check.

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute is located just outside of Las Vegas Nevada.

The goal of this video training series is to show you how your training at Front Sight directly correlates to the reality’s that you will face on the street.

Brazil in January 2016, This shooting takes place in a subway sandwich shop.

This guy with the shaved head and black shirt is the good guy, he’s an off duty cop carrying concealed.

Two bad guys armed with handguns come in the store.

Bad guys split up, one on our hero and the other on the cash register.

When the time is right the good guy presents his handgun from under his shirt and delivers a rapid controlled pair to bad guy number one.

Bad guy number two cowards against the wall and tosses out his gun.

Our hero secures the handgun

3:09 180 degree threat, Keeping his back up against the wall reduces the amount of directions a threat may come from.

3:35 Next our hero brings bad guy number two out from behind the counter and on the floor this keeps both bad guys in view at all times.

GOOD JOB for the HERO.

One point to critique however!

When dealing with the bad guy behind the counter our hero had his hands full.

he had his own gun in his right hand and bad guy one’s gun in his left hand
and dropped it on the floor to prone out bad guy number two right next to the gun, less than ideal.

4:27 Be conscious of what’s in your hands, secure any weapons away from the bad guy’s reach.

That’s just one less thing to worry about.

clearly our hero had control of the seen.

4;59 bad guy number one still flopping around on the floor, Handgun rounds are not
that impressive.

You must be ready for more action, in other words you must expect a failure to stop.

5:16 A failure to stop is when the bad guy upon receiving two shots to the thoracic cavity is still posing a threat

A follow up shot to the head is used to stop the threat.

5:21 Make no assumptions and don’t turn your back on the bad guy, even if he is on the floor bleeding.

The scenario training we use at front Sight will ingrain in you all those good habits.

So you don’t have to think about them when the chips are down.
