Follow us backstage for the fall/winter haute couture show 2025-2026 of Imane Ayissi! Behind the scenes, the atmosphere was one of focused artistry, with teams meticulously perfecting each look. The collection’s blend of sharp, structured jackets with softer, draped pieces showcased Ayissi’s play with contrasts, creating fresh and intentional designs that pushed the conversation between heritage and high fashion forward. Ayissi’s collection drew inspiration from the idea of allowing nature to regenerate. This vision was translated into bold and poetic creations, with a strong emphasis on floral and plant motifs. Tops and bags mimicked grass, while draped dresses were adorned with large taffeta flowers and green leaf appliques. The designs visually explored flora and fauna through prints, brocades, embroidery, and beading of small animals, a technique inspired by traditional Yoruba culture.
