http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS – The thing about designers like Elie Saab and Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, the duo that make up Valentino, is that they’ve established their own signature style and after seeing it on their runways for a few seasons, we’ve come to expect it. So when they change it up a bit–it sort of blows our minds, in the way that Elie Saab decided to do gray daywear, and the fact that the Valentino duo have decided to play up their femininity with leather fabrics. Still, regardless of this newish fabric hitting the Valentino runway, the essence of Valentino was as present as ever–this time with feminine silhouettes in ethnic prints and native motifs–a mix of Oriental, Greek, and Russian. It seems like above all, Valentino decided to take a magic carpet ride around the world with a cool and modern Fall kick.
