http://www.euronews.com/ Snow-choked European cities are struggling with a second day of disruption caused by an intense late-season storm.

Across the continent, road and rail travel has been disrupted by long jams and lengthy delays.

The Eurostar was suspended for most of March 12 but resumed service on March 13.

In the French capital, traffic has been chaotic for two days – with Parisians struggling through snow and ice on the streets.

In Germany, the roads are particularly perilous. There have been a series of accidents on the A45 and the A3, reportedly causing several injuries.

Frankfurt, Europe’s third largest airport, had to be shut down on March 12 and more than 700 flights were cancelled. An airport spokesman estimates that up to 3,000 people spent the night here.

The airport re-opened on March 13, but the travel disruption continues.
