http://www.FashionTV.com/videos PARIS – The John Galliano Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection at Paris Fashion Week has a dark, haunted theme and FashionTV brings you the scoop from backstage and the front row.

Makeup Artist Pat McGrath says the makeup look is darkly romantic and based on English illustrator and author Aubrey Beardsley. “We dab black eyes with a little bit of green, blue on them for the iridescent. Very beautiful look. Very intense,” she says.

According to Hairstylist Orlando Pita, the hair at Galliano this season is “kind of a mysterious woman walking down the street and she’s caught in the wind and its kind of just blowing in different directions. The models have a bun up top with hair coming out at the ends in all directions. Regardless, many of the girls are going to be wearing old English hats.

The vibe of the Fall 2012 collection is Sleepy Hollow meets Old English polish. Additions include fur sleeves, leather, and equestrian elements. “We started off looking at Victorian riding clothes and things developed,” says designer Bill Gaytten. He also looked to Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula movie for dramatic sexual overtones and inspiration. Gaytten says he likes draping, though his experience is in cutting.
