Mubarak trial continues in Egypt

Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak is back in court today facing charges that may lead to his execution. Accused of conspiring to kill protesters during the uprising that began in January and forced him to resign, Mubarak could face the death penalty if convicted. He and his two sons, Alaa and Gama, are also charged with corruption. Mubarak’s defence team want 1,600 witnesses to appear.
