http://www.FashionTV.com/videos NEW YORK – The mood was dusk and dawn at the Donna Karan Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show during New York Fashion Week. The show was titled “Sunrise, Sunset”, which explained the progression of colors from orange and pink to beige and blue. Karan perfected the fitted on top look and the below the waist silhouettes, which was drawn from the 1950s ballet. Karan’s collection was very monotone with a majority of lightweight and sheer fabrics, a few drapes, minimal embellishments and cropped sweaters. A few sparkling sequins popped up here and there, mostly during eveningwear, which swept the stage floor so elegantly. The entire look was overall, very soft, very fragile from head to toe. Hair and makeup paired well with many of the wrap dresses, with models sporting high buns tied with a lucite headband and bright orange and red eyeliner.
