Rediscover the art of getting dressed by exploring Anna Sui’s fall/winter 2026 collection, a vibrant tribute to the New Romantic spirit and a call to express your true self through fashion! Anna Sui presents a collection that is both a historical tribute and a modern manifesto. Drawing inspiration from London’s legendary Blitz nightclub in the early 1980s, Sui revisits the era of the New Romantics – a time when figures like Boy George and Steve Strange traded punk’s jagged edges for the fantasy of pirates, highwaymen, and swashbucklers. This season is deeply personal for Sui, dedicated to the memory of her mother, Grace Sui (1926-2026). It reflects a world where dressing up is an act of performance and a reconsideration of our relationship with our wardrobes. The collection features a rich mix of textures and global influences. Heavy quilted coats with floor-sweeping volume were balanced by delicate slipdresses and bias-cut pieces. These garments featured lace insets and embroidery that nodded to Indian traditions, bridging the gap between Western subculture and Eastern craftsmanship. The palette is defined by storytelling through color: jewel tones of plum, emerald, saffron, and rose sit alongside grounded earthy neutrals. Leopard prints, painterly florals, and fur-trimmed plaid coats reinforced a romanticism that felt unruly and self-assured rather than fragile. Accessories, a hallmark of the Sui aesthetic, grounded the looks in the present day. Furry headpieces, stoles, and softly pointed boots from longtime collaborator John Fluevog provided the finishing touches to a collection that celebrates the past while looking firmly toward the future.
