A Shell of Roses by Antonio Marras for F/W 26-27, Milan Fashion Week | FashionTV | FTV

Published

on

Pause for a breath before the runway begins – Antonio Marras’ fall/winter 2026-2027 collection is a quiet invitation to return home. “Dwelling Within Oneself” is a poetic meditation on memory, intimacy, and the architecture of the soul. The show unfolded like an ancient silence woven by ants walking through wild gardens, where roots drink shade, and stories grow in the dark. At the center of the narrative stands the Jana, a figure with cloud-like feet, meeting the Caragol, the snail who offers her home as an intimate, symbolic shelter. The Jana, never entering a dwelling empty-handed, embroiders purplish and powder-hued roses across the shell, turning it into a nomadic refuge, a traveling secret garden. When the snail moves on, she carries the enchantment with her, leaving behind an invisible trace scented with rain and Mediterranean scrub. The collection lives in that suspended breath – a dialogue between who we are and the contemporary act of inhabiting one’s own interior world. Fashion here frees itself from the dust of time to become pure elegance, where memory becomes the very structure of the present. Silhouettes are vertical and fluid, with soft shoulders and below-the-knee lengths accompanying the body without ever constraining it. Wool coats with wide collars and off-centre fastenings reinterpret sartorial tradition in a gentle, generous way. Soft pinstripes, geometric jacquards, and straight skirts introduce a graphic, calm rhythm.

Discover the art of radical upcycling and DIY couture, watch the full Simon Cracker spring/summer 2027 showcase now on FashionTV!

For S/S 2027, designer Simone Botte turns to childhood memories, raw DIY punk ethos, and zero-energy upcycling for the latest Simon Cracker collection: “”Via Francia.””

Rooted in the belief that true luxury lies in creativity rather than high price tags, the collection draws on a summer in Romagna spent creating theater costumes from discarded tablecloths, granny skirts, and vintage curtains.

On the runway, this nostalgic “”playroom-wardrobe”” unfolds through modular, transformable garments that let wearers redefine their silhouettes with hooks and shifting shapes.

Hand-assembled without electricity, the lineup pairs 18th-century “”poor couture”” shapes, deadstock paisley, and plastic-coated leathers with promotional t-shirts merged into elegant gowns.

Hand-painted Dr. Martens, 3D-printed bags made from recycled filaments, and earrings crafted from salvaged beach plastic round out a deeply personal, anti-system showcase that celebrates freedom, individuality, and radical sustainability.

Admire the intersection of sports culture and global identity – watch Private Policy spring/summer 2027 show on FashionTV!

At Daylight Studio during New York Fashion Week, Private Policy unveiled its S/S 2027 collection, “”Stitched, Not Blended.””

Rejecting the pressure to force cultural compromise, co-creative directors Haoran Li and Siying Qu explore how two distinct worlds can coexist in complete wholeness, using New York basketball culture and its massive Mandarin-speaking global fanbase as a powerful metaphor for youth living between cultures.

The collection brings this philosophy to life through sharp contrast: structured, court-inspired outerwear meets fluid organza layers, while deconstructed basketball jerseys, varsity-stripe ribbing, and tailored suits feature exposed, heavy-gauge contrast stitching that holds the garments together.

Nylon utility track pants, oversized bomber jackets, and convertible zip-off sleeves sit alongside refined Mandarin collar shirting and metallic hardware details.

Instead of blending elements into a uniform hybrid, Private Policy allows each fabric, silhouette, and cultural reference to retain its true identity, held in place by visible, resilient seams.

Enjoy dance-inspired silhouettes and effortless summer glamour at Alberta Ferretti’s spring/summer 2027 show on FashionTV!

For S/S 2027, Lorenzo Serafini guides Alberta Ferretti into a beautiful escape rooted in dance’s fluid grace and the languid nostalgia of end-of-summer days.

Inspired by the radical movement of 1920s dance icons Leon Bakst and George Balanchine, the collection frees the body from structural constraint through effortless, kinetic silhouettes.

Liquid-like floral prints, kimono jackets, and intimate slip dresses meet voluminous balloon trousers, blurring the boundary between private lounging and public allure.

A sun-bleached palette of teal, rust, and mustard yellow is tempered by soft recollections of lilac and pistachio, capturing the fleeting memory of endless warm days.

Blending Matisse-like artistic spontaneity with uninhibited sensuality, Serafini defines a modern femininity that moves instinctively on its own terms.
