Step into the Night with Cucculelli Shaheen, F/W 26-27, New York Fashion Week | FashionTV | FTV
Join us at the Bowery Ballroom in New York, which was transformed into a nocturnal universe for Cucculelli Shaheen’s fall/winter 2026-2027 collection, titled Collection Twenty-Two: Electric Cosmos. Designers Anna Rose Shaheen and Anthony Cucculelli turned the historic venue into a psychedelic, immersive stage where Baroque glam-rock met Art Deco mysticism. The runway became a space of darkness and sudden illumination, alive with live music from Nashville-based band Calico Mantra, whose sound wove through the air as models moved. The collection is a high-drama exploration of contrast and craft. Romantic yet structured silhouettes dominate: rich velvet coats, crystal-embellished gowns, and intricately handcrafted embroidery that shimmer like distant stars. Every piece carries the brand’s signature downtown edge: subversive, intimate, and unapologetically bold. Influences collide in the most deliberate way. Art Deco geometry meets cosmic abstraction, drawing partly from Josiah McElheny’s “Island Universe” and the theatrical excess of glam-rock. The result is a wardrobe that feels both otherworldly and deeply wearable – nocturnal luxury for those who move through the city after dark.
