Velvet, Tartan, Roses by Luisa Beccaria for F/W 26-27, Milan Fashion Week | FashionTV | FTV
Pause and imagine the moment – Luisa Beccaria’s Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection is a wardrobe built for the occasions that matter most! Beccaria presented “Celebrations” with the clear intention of dressing life’s meaningful milestones with sensitivity and polish. Material richness sets the tone. Tartan is reinterpreted through a softer lens – flowing into full skirts, structured midi dresses, and coats that balance rigor with delicacy. Light-toned tweeds shimmer with tone-on-tone sequins and subtly frayed hems, often paired with velvet embroidered with small botanical details. Tactile contrast is a recurring theme, reinforcing Beccaria’s reputation for depth and thoughtful fabrication. Velvet lace brings a sensual edge, shaping silhouettes with precision while keeping the mood measured. Jacquards embroidered with sequins create dimensional surfaces that catch light without overwhelming. Movement is effortless: embroidered tulles dotted with tiny florals appear almost suspended, while long printed chiffon gowns glide along the body like winter gardens in bloom. The palette warms the season — caramel and aubergine ground it with depth, soft beige interacts with dusty lilac and sky blue, greens shift from sage to forest to midnight. Winter sorbets return in floral chine fabrics, powder pinks, cool blues, and lilacs reaffirming house codes.
