Macron calls for ‘return to peace, a ceasefire, calm’ in Middle East
French President Emmanuel Macron called on Friday for a ceasefire in the Middle East during a joint news conference with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in Tokyo.
“We both advocate for a return to peace, a ceasefire, calm, and free passage through the Strait of Hormuz,” Macron told the news conference.
