Art of the Modern Traveller by Ports 1961, Milan Fashion Week

Published

on

Embark on the next chapter of luxury, joining us at the fall/winter 2026-2027 presentation of Ports 1961 held at Milan Fashion Week! Celebrating a landmark 65th anniversary, Ports 1961 unveiled its newest collection at Milan’s Fondazione Sozzani, transforming the venue into an immersive transit landscape. Under the creative vision of Design Director Francesco Bertolini, the collection honors the house’s founding credo – “breakfast in the Sahara and dinner in New York” – by crafting a complete wardrobe for the woman who navigates shifting climates and roles with instinctive poise. The presentation, graced by the iconic Nadja Auermann, mirrored the rhythmic motion of travel with elongated platforms reminiscent of airport conveyors, setting the stage for a collection defined by clarity, function, and quiet refinement over mere spectacle. The aesthetic journey is anchored in streamlined outerwear and precision-cut tailoring, where sharp, cropped jackets with a marine edge meet fluid, wide-leg trousers and draped dresses. A foundational palette of navy, camel, and ivory is warmed by utilitarian hits of avio, red, and deep russet, while technical blends and fine wools ensure every piece is travel-ready. Poetic details soften the rigorous geometry, such as sculptural knot motifs used as fasteners, linear stick prints inspired by the drawings of Louise Bourgeois, and abstract argyles that echo the work of Sonia Delaunay. From the tactile richness of hammered brooches and degraded pearl embroidery to the lived-in feel of vintage-finished leathers, the collection traces elegance through motion itself, allowing the Ports 1961 woman to move through the world with assertive confidence and a signature sense of ease.

Choosing to stand as the face of a fashion house for three consecutive seasons signifies a rare and genuine artistic affinity. The collaboration stems from an authentic connection to the brand’s core values. As an international, free, and self-aware presence, Peltz naturally interprets the sophisticated language that defines Genny.

For Creative Director Sara Cavazza Facchini, Peltz embodies a timeless femininity that transcends geographic boundaries and fleeting trends – balancing strength with delicacy, and authenticity with high glamour. Rather than treating each season as a standalone advertisement, the Maison views this partnership as an evolving narrative.

As Cavazza highlights, the collaboration builds a lasting story through Peltz’s natural sensitivity and global dimension.
The F/W 26-27 campaign opens a compelling new chapter, reinforcing Genny’s dedication to long-term creative relationships that strengthen a distinct and recognizable identity.

Erdem: Gender, Illusion, & the Legacy of Barbette for S/S 27 | London Fashion Week

Published

on

1920s Paris, avant-garde illusion, and fluid elegance – explore Erdem S/S 27 on FashionTV!

For spring/summer 2027, Erdem Moralioglu draws inspiration from the legendary 1920s American aerialist Barbette – born Vander Clyde Broadway – whose high-wire trapeze acts in Paris captivated Jean Cocteau and the French avant-garde.

Barbette’s art lay in the fluid illusion between genders: conjuring ethereal femininity while aloft, only to reveal conscious masculinity at the curtain call, embodying what Cocteau famously described as the “supernatural sex of beauty.” A century later, Erdem translates this suspended world into a striking exploration of transformation.

The collection intentionally pushes and pulls the traditional architecture of masculine tailoring and feminine couture. Structured sartorial lines dissolve into delicate drapery, while tense, luminous silhouettes honor the fluid space between identities.

Proving that beauty needs no resolution, Erdem delivers a deeply poetic S/S 2027 showcase where gender becomes a performance and fashion exists on a high wire of endless possibility.

ANTEPRIMA: Wit, Illusion, and Self-Discovery for S/S 27 | Milan Fashion Week

Published

Step into the garden of imagination – watch the Anteprima spring/summer 2027 runway show on FashionTV!

For S/S 2027, Creative Director Izumi Ogino leads Anteprima into a garden of imagination with Anteprima Giardino. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the collection reinterprets Carrollian whimsy not as a nostalgic fairy tale, but as a sophisticated study in intelligence, wit, and altered perception.

The collection playfully shifts proportions and challenges reality through exquisite technique: transparent embroidery, delicate pointelle, romantic ruffles, and trompe loeil details seamlessly balance softness with structure. At the heart of the collection is a woman who does not lose herself in wonder but discovers new dimensions within herself. Curious, positive, and quietly confident, she sees the world with grace, humour, and an open mind.

Designed for a woman who is curious, positive, and quietly confident, Anteprima S/S 27 proves that wonder is a path to self-discovery. Through light-as-air textures and layered craftsmanship, Ogino delivers a refined, wearable invitation to look closer, shift perspectives, and uncover new dimensions of personal style.

BOTTEGA VENETA: Wear Less, But Feel More for S/S 27 | Milan Fashion Week

Featherlight leather, loosened tailoring, and pure liberation – experience Bottega Veneta spring/summer 2027 on FashionTV!

In Milan, the shift from spring to summer is felt in the air – a subtle metamorphosis as the city sheds its winter skin to reveal a sense of uninhibited possibility. For S/S 2027, Bottega Veneta captures this quiet mutation through a collection centered on physical and mental liberation.

Moving away from containment toward complete freedom, silhouettes loosen without losing structural precision, allowing space for the body to breathe and move effortlessly. Craftsmanship remains the Maison’s beating heart, where the sentiment and deliberate imperfection of the artisan’s hand shine through.

Iconic Intrecciato leather transforms into featherlight constructions, while fluid tailoring blurs the boundaries between masculine and feminine definitions. Interweaving leather, human touch, and collaborative artistry, Bottega Veneta presents an optimistic luxury that invites you to strip back the layers, step into the light, and leave room for the summer breeze to take over.
