MEP: World Cup diversity “part of today’s world”

Austrian MEP Lukas Mandl tells #EuropeToday that the high number of World Cup players representing countries different to their birthplace reflects that “more people than ever before have more than one national identity”.
Nearly 8% of all World Cup players were born in France (98).
