Making its highly anticipated European runway debut as Copenhagen Fashion Week’s inaugural International Guest brand, New York–based label Collina Strada brought a burst of conscious, rebellious joy to the Scandinavian schedule.

Founded by Hillary Taymour in 2008, the brand operates dynamically at the intersection of fashion, activism, and self-expression. Known for its vibrant, expressive designs and deep commitment to sustainability, Collina Strada has firmly established itself as a leading voice in a new generation of conscious, independent fashion.

For the Spring/Summer 2027 showcase, Taymour doubled down on local production, inclusive storytelling, and textile experimentation. The collection came to life through one-off upcycled materials and deadstock studio scraps, transforming discarded fabrics into a dreamlike, whimsical wardrobe of romantic chiffon dresses, pleated denim, and intricate patchwork.

By clashing soft pastels with unconventional layering, Collina Strada proved that climate-conscious design and high-energy fantasy go hand in hand.
