Making his official debut on the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) runway calendar, three-time Emmy Award-winning costume and fashion designer Zaldy brought theatrical synthesis and high-glamour storytelling to New York Fashion Week.

Staged inside Hotel Chelsea’s iconic El Quijote restaurant, the intimate presentation transformed the room into a Paris-inspired salon setting, complete with candlelit tables and seated guests. Partnering with logistics company Auger and PR icon Kelly Cutrone, Zaldy used the collection to “pirate” his own vast archive and multi-cultural roots, blending his Filipino heritage with decades of iconic pop-costume creation.

Models wove through the room showcasing tropical, seafarer-inspired aesthetics: seafarer whites, burnt yellow, island green accents, and fantastical patterns paired alongside sleek, quintessentially New York tailoring.
