World’s tallest wind turbine in Germany
Germany company GICON is building the world’s tallest wind turbine — which by its completion will rise 365 metres above ground level, making it taller than the Eiffel Tower.
After decades of lignite mining have left scars across the landscape of Klettwitz, Germany, the small town has now become a frontrunner in the country’s race to sustainability. This new wind power plant could be a game-changer in ending Germany’s coal reliance.
