   EU members are already over half flawed democracies which they need to fix ASAP. Ukraine on the other hand is still a hybrid regime making it the worst out of all EU countries according to the latest democratic index. If Zelensky really cares for his country then he should try to make Ukraine into a true democracy first. Unfortunately under his rule, Ukraine's democratic index fell from 5.9 to 5.57. Time to step it up!

   These people are talking about (white Christian) European unity. What is this unity based on but for being christian and white? None. The languages, food, culture, everything is different. Even the so called VALUES are different to some extent. This so called "EUROPEAN Unity" between white nations is only to resurrect the Third Reich. I am surprised why the rest of the world is taking sides instead of staying neutral and planning their own strategy of staying non-aligned and creating a new world order for the rest of the world that excludes US/EU/NATO/RUSSIA. The world is a big place. the rest of the world, if united, can exert significant influence against these white powers who are ruthlessly exploiting third world countries. It is time for the rest of the world to unite and create a new world order, a new banking and financial system and not heed to the pressures of these countries. The so called "democracy" and "freedom" even in these white industrialized nations are only for the whites. Take up the statistics of any country: USA/France/ Germany/Russia.. The colored people in these countries are most down trodden despite a century of peace.

    Being a East Europen State and joining the EU means you became a puppet state in the hands of mighty Germany and Germany's best friends. Why do you thing UK left the EU. Because Germany does not like to share. They bribe other states in eastern Europe with millions of euro only to steal billions from them in return. For the EU the eastern states are just a place where they can sell their second hand quality products, a place where they can use the poor people for cheep leverage, a place where they can steal any resource they need. Is the worst thing for the free states of est Europe since the URSS. Hope Ukraina will win and keep her independency and will never kneel in front of Germany because EU serves purpose only to its creator.

    Please don't hate me 🙏🏾 . I would have loved to see this crowd for Libya , Palestine , Mali , Serbia , Iraq or even Afghanistan because they also have the right to freedom and the right to freely live their culture . It makes me think a lot … Is Russia the only " bad " superpower ? Is Russia the only invader ? If NO , why is its case different if not for fishy reasons that the common man ignores ? What makes Ukraine so special compared to other past and current invaded nations ? Please , don't hate me . I am only opening my heart with these questions . I hate war because i have seen its effects a lot in Africa and I pray this nonsense in Ukraine ends today . Please ,I expect objective and sincere answers 🙏🏾🙏🏾Not unreasonable justifications .

    I think that it would be unfair to the citizens of Ukraine to let them become a permanent member of EU. IF letting them join temporarly would assist them directly in their was against Russia then I am for a temporarly participation. But I am against for them to become a EU permanent member until all of the people in Ukraine have gotten to vote on it. Also they have internal issues that needs to be sorted out before being able to become a permanent EU member. Sorted out without any further violence.

    Ukraine spirit is admirable. But corruption and economic power is another story. When the challenges from Poland, Hungary, or weakening economies like Italy, Greece or Portugal already adds up, getting Ukraine in will really complicate the matter.

    Also, truly dumb for security. Regarding how Russia and Ukraine now has virtually no border, Russian security agents can just swam the channel.. this makes no sense

    In spite of all solidarity with Ukraine, I do hope that there will be no fast track membership to the EU!
    The country just doesn't qualify for a variety of reasons, and the EU should not accept another East European country which would need support for a long time to come.

    I don't want Ukraine to skip the necessary steps before the waiting room. they have still long way to go to meet the standards. it will be a burden on EU shoulders for ever because of Russia. And to be honest I don't see Russia will allow them to join the EU anyway
