The rise of right-wing parties in some European countries sparked a stream of panicked headlines from more liberal media outlets. While this trend is noticeable, particularly in Italy, Germany and Austria, is it really uniform across Europe, and what does the “far right” even stand for nowadays?

Why are these “panic headlines”? This is people’s democratic wishes.

Being against illegal, unlimited, uncontrolled mass immigration of large amounts of people who are anti-west…. Is not far rightwing. It's common sense.
Stop calling Europeans rightwing because they don't want to see the rest of their cities turned into whatever the ** some parts are now. Don't need to be a scientist to see how bad our crime rates have become.

The EU is a fucking joke. Germany, Italy and France are the only relevant counties in the EU. These countries don’t benefit from the other (poor) members like Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece,… AT ALL. These poor countries only take money. German tax payers literally financed the renovation of the entire infrastructure of these counties. Go from Germany to Poland. Once you cross the border it’s a different word. Everything is modern and digitalised in Poland. Meanwhile, Germany is rotting because the government has neglected its own country for decades. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ and there are still too many Germans who don’t wanna see the truth and vote the leftist parties, the traitors

Don't conflate being against foreign hostile cultures being imported, with being "right wing". Actually being against foreign hostile cultures usually means you are left wing in your own country.

Working people tired of their taxes paying for everyone else's stuff that they haven't earned or paid into themselves; having endless waves of immigrants coming and incrementally changing thee country and culture whilst overwhelmingly using welfare, not working, disproportionately involved in crime, and not integrating into the hosts country; inflation, erosion of freedom, idiot government policies and endless tax increases, and on and on. Otherwise, NO IDEA!!!

I wouldn't say much has changed in Europe. The only reason why the European collective psyche tempered its hatred and disgust of outsiders was because the countries needed low skilled labourers to grow their economies. And since the promised growth isn't happening anymore, the old feelings are coming right back up. It's no coincidence that the far right is rising along with a backdrop of economic stagnation.

  13. @Kounomura

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

The real threatening problem is the rivalry between China and the USA. In the coming decades, the whole world will be terrified by the shadow of nuclear war. If the USA feels its loss, it will behave like a cornered beast. The rise of China will bring out America's darkest side. China does not want to defeat the USA with war, but economically, on the one hand, and on the other hand, by bringing most of the world to its side. And this situation will put the USA in a very difficult position.

If there was no islamism, none of these parties or movements would be so powerful. Perfectly understandable how this is now the current political trend. But defining far right is difficult as its used as an insult to those who oppose certain atendas favoured by the mainstream governments.

  19. @hohetannen4703

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

Europeans are not Europeans. Europeans are Celts, Germans, Latins and Slavs. We don’t want to be replaced in homelands older than those of the Native Americans, who themselves are native going back 15-20,000 years. Our roots go back 50-100,000 years.

  22. @bobvanpeborgh6312

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

Speaking as a Belgian, the more the leftist parties and liberals fuck-up and COMPLETELY IGNORE the wishes of THE MAJORITY of voters and blatantly refuse to even listen or acknowledge their griefs, more and more people will turn towards the right, even the extreme right in order to be heard; the problem is that there are no more neutral-centre-political-parties anymore and people can only choose between left, extreme-left, liberal(who, in Belgium, are only considering the wellbeing of the banks, multi-nationals, rich people and the C.E.O's and money, money, money) or right and extreme-right… This right-swing-phenomenon is repeating and spreading itself all across Europe ; look at what happened to the (so they claimed themselves)most progressive country in Europe; Geert Wilders(extreme-right) smashed all of their expectations with his clear election-victory!

  23. @polishnorwegianandspanish9145

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

Guess what? In Poland the right-winters lost in a long run. We have a centrist governemt against illegal migration and pro human rights and equality.

  24. @MyerShift7

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

Not at all. It's exactly right: Protecting the native, indigenous (WHITE) peoples and cultures of Western civilization. You Far Left Extremists will receive this crucial lesson involuntarily.

  25. @13CDallas

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

Its a natural result to swing right when the EU and the LEFT destroy your culture and your way of life with there policies of open boarders

  26. @TwoKrows

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

When the left embraces insane policies and tries to justify its existence though more radical policies such as ignoring population majorities and denying basic scientific fact such as biology based gender, all that remains is basic right wing thinking, which is not something new. The left is driving off a cliff and the question being asked is ‘where is all this right-wing stuff coming from?’ How about asking instead ‘where the heck is the left-wing going in such a hurry?’ The sane thing is balance between and left and right clinging to the center. With the left going madly off in insane directions this balance is lost and all that remains is the right wing.

  27. @thisismetoday

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

Europeans are just simply fed up with non-integrating migrants.
Many people have just been behaving very disrespectfully to the countries that gave them a future.

europes always been right wing. tge western part anyway. right win parties are responsible for flooding europe with immigrants for giving our tax money to wars and much more. right wing is cancer its ruining europe

  29. @FINNSTIGAT0R

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

  33. @zineddinebelgaid7303

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

I think that right wing ideas are spreading quickly and honestly racism and xenophobia have become so normalised, it honestly scares me as a student in France.
There are so many aspects I do love about this country, but I will not give up my identity in order to appease some racists

  34. @HasnaaAlaa

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

Unfortunately the whole world is moving to the right, we are so fucked

  35. @platin2148

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

I‘d say less industry destroying compared to currently. Also maybe less climate change we should change even if it’s more expensive todo it here than some where else wehere you could save more with less effort and money.

Would be also important to now get into automation for basically everything as there will be way less people to produce something here. And also we need cheap energy for all of that which solar and wind aren’t because of the storage..

  36. @WLDB

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

Only on one issue. So in practice not really. If the left just started actually listening and acting they wouldn't be losing people.

A lot of people telling me I'm far right these days. I can't be arsed to argue. You'll shit your pants when a real far right shows up. But it's not me who has the explaining to do. I mean, you've got what you want. You've got your open borders. You've got feral migrants harassing schoolgirls and raping women. You've got the police to turn a blind eye to chants of antisemitic genocidal slogans. Jihadists can operate freely on the streets without consequence. You've got your machete weilding Bomalian gangs operating in broad daylight. You've got it so we can't deport anyone.

You've got your way on everything else too. You've got the state broadcaster pushing demented ideology on kids so they think hormone treatments and radical surgery is the answer to their teen angst. You've got the media calling rapists by female pronouns. You can have people arrested for using the wrong pronouns.

You've got your Net Zero and your useless windmills so people have to decide between heating and eating. You've got your EVs so only the rich can get around. You've got your forever war in Ukraine.

You've got it so people with right wing views can't change things through the ballot box. You can rip down any statue you like and escape prosecution. You can mob politicians and blockade Jewish owned businesses and get away with it. Until Musk took over Twitter, you even got to decide who can have a public platform. You've successfully turned Britain into a despotic crime-ridden shit-tip without even having to win an election. Yet somehow it's the "far right" that's the problem. Given the damage you've done, you're going to have to spell it out why being "far right" is a bad thing.

  39. @1973HenkY

    February 14, 2024 at 3:23 am

The European peoples started voting against the EVIL bureaucrats that the EU is made out of. They are democratic, which is the opposite of the EU.
