Actually the parlement has very little influence, it doesnt has the right of "initiative", which means they are able to propose their own proposals and or amendens. They dont control their own agenda and every voting outcome can be over turned by the EU Commision and/or EU Council if these two bodies dont like the outcome. Though in theory it sounds nice that the sceptic/anti EU block will grow, it isnt like they all have the same interest, especially not the groups from eastern & southern Europe. Who dont want to stop the free billions their memberstates annually receive, of which Orban, Meloni and Le Penn are prime examples of.

Well, if the so called democratic parties (note: IMHO even the alt- and far-right are democratic parties – they don't want to be, but they have to be to work within the system!) are constantly selling you out ot the highest corporate bidder, then people will get fed up especially if they see corpo-profits EXPLODE while the regular people are approaching food insecurity in a lot of cases (some people are close to having to decide if they want to pay rent this month or eat!)…haven't seen regular politicians do anything for me lately (and lately means the last 20+ years!), so yeah I myself sometimes think (I've not done so yet) about voting for say the AfD (Germany's populist rightwing party)…haven't done it so far because my common sense has kept my anger in check so far!

Miss giorgia you sre on the right track madam. The patents. Or sny other old school inventions does really belong yo pres. Xi now. The owners if the factories are not hoing anywhere,it will be nationalized by pres. Xi, with thr BRICS digital currency just starting today, sll of the people have to relearn, study new ways to skirt thr old patents snd create new products to keep all nations working to eaen their daily brrad every single day first and foremost we havr to sdk for guidance from thr immaculate heart of Mary to give us a little bit
more knowledge so as not to infringe in the patents of the old school. We hsve to tbink smsll now. Also we cannot do reasearch in industrialized nations. There are a lot of Monopolys gor thier products. Think small like harness power bt the microns that csn support industries by a few houses thar thry can make products to sell in the
markets. It is not only power but reasearch and developmrnts of new pharmaceutical products for local use only. Barter is the key snd avoiding the use of currencies that will force us to be enslaved us forever. There is mivh more to it if we only pray our rosary,!!!

Considering it unlikely that Scotland will get a second independence referendum for at least another decade and the inevitable rise of the far right in the EU when they finally do get one I don't think re-joining the EU will be as big a vote winner for the YES campaign as it is now .

I love the way TLDR like to smear political parties.

Remember the left are the racists and nearly all nationalist parties are left leaning eg socialist, take the UK HWERE Labour we’re found to be institutionally, racist.
Racists are nearly always left leaning.

Right wing means ultra capitalist, small state low tax etc, no nationalist party is like this.

Is it just this guy is bringing his own bias and lack of ability to report factually and just smearing anyone he disagrees with.

Nearly all mass murdering regimes are left wing, left wing are always the first to stop freedom of speech etc.

But trendy lefties like this comic can’t bring themselves to admit this truth.

  29. @mariotato8345

    February 15, 2024 at 8:20 am

I dont think so , the fascists are just the small , poor countrys like hungary, Rumania, poland and now Italy that is the only important one , the rest of europe France , germany , spain, belgiam, etc are socialist and centric

  30. @TheMagicLemur

    February 15, 2024 at 8:20 am

6:00 – why not mention that the Commission is where all the power is, meets in secret, and is unaccountable?
Also that the parliament can do NOTHING to stop what they put forward…?

For a supposedly politically neutral channel, it speaks volumes what you miss out in these EU love-ins…

  31. @LastNRA

    February 15, 2024 at 8:20 am

Good for Europe if the hard liner right wingers got elected. EU is too bloated of a bureaucratic nightmare and should be stripped of most power ASAP

  32. @vere9652

    February 15, 2024 at 8:20 am

1:16 It's funny, how almost all left wing european parties are RED, but American Democrats are Blue. And almost all right wing european parties are BLUE, but American Republicans are RED. I think RED makes more sense with left, because of history and Communism.

  33. @tudormiller887

    February 15, 2024 at 8:20 am

Is this the real reason the UK left the EU ? 😮

  34. @aarengraves9962

    February 15, 2024 at 8:20 am

stop calling right wing parties "far-right".
    You look dumb…

  35. @erggish

    February 15, 2024 at 8:20 am

The reason why Europe will fail to the nationalists, is that it never tried to create a national idea on its own. Each country member of the EU has its own national ideas, language, traditions and cultures… That creates centrifugal forces that tend to tear apart the union. That is why for example, EU should have adopted ONE language for all, ONE banner for all etc. That way people would start thinking of themselves as Europeans and not as much as "Italians", "french", "germans", or any other…
