Right now 1 ruble is 1 penny. That can't be right. 1 ruble must be 1 dollar.

It is always accounted in the Inventories of its respective books, Russia acknowledges the importance of accounts, they reconcile the practices of Quality, Quantity most important characteristics in businesses and in exports/imports for countries. Rubble is doing good, trial balances, taxes and declaration of its books, so as its neighboring countries of the same standards of excellence.

Almost two years into sanctions , they said effects would be slow and in the future…. Russia still holding very well and will be. Sanctions are pretty stupid when there is a thousand ways they can go around them. That’s the truth

The oil price vs oil products at the end was enlightening, I imagine that is the real bite from the oil price cap; the secondary impact of Russia’s discounted crude oil, which allows China and India to use that to produce cheaper oil products than Russia

  16. @Panaputra

    February 16, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Ruble decoupling from oil prices is not due to the price cap but because Russia is exporting oil in Chinese Yuan and Indian Rupees instead of Dollars. They are importing goods and services from China and India using that money instead of Dollars.

    audio: "new low"
    graph: goes up

It's the conventional way of showing the graph, but still a tad confusing. And the fact that you labelled it "USD/RUB" (which would in fact go down as the RUB weakens) while displaying RUB/USD doesn't help.
Besides that, informative video as usual; thank you

  20. @blackexcellence7212

    February 16, 2024 at 9:38 pm

It's not declining, it's engaged in a "special depreciation operation".

  21. @stuckerfam

    February 16, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Why not a graph with the ruble to the dollar? The reporting was done in rubles/dollars, but the graph was dollars/rubles. I understood the difference, but everytime the host said "lowest" the graph was at its highest. It was jarring and distracting to me. I am unsure of why this decision was made.

Anyway, I love the channel. But I just saw a minor weakness in this well-written report.

Speaking about declining values while using charts that show the line going UP, reveals that U R a mirror person: an alien from the other side.

  24. @ALFarrell-kv6ok

    February 16, 2024 at 9:38 pm

It's such a shame to see the two top BRICS dictatorships going to economic hell in a handbasket. Their individual problems will surely compound each other's declines, just when they were gloating to Africa about their rise and rise and the downfall of the allegedly decadent West and its dollar😆

  25. @joelpritchard451

    February 16, 2024 at 9:38 pm

WE CAN ONLY HOPE THE RUBLE WILL CRASH AND THE RUSSIAN ECONOMY. WILL Collapse.

  26. @sammypence6185

    February 16, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Putin is cannibalizing it's economy just to show the west that it's economy is not collapsing. But that Russian money is finished now.

  27. @jeanpierrelaolou5490

    February 16, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Do you know the difference between a ruble and a dollar?
    Well no …
    one dollar

  28. @davidbowie5023

    February 16, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Russia uses artificial prompting up to save the rouble. Yet China and India exploit Russia for their own interests.

Once Russia is no longer useful, they will have their business matter.

Soon birds will refuse picking up ruble notes, they are considered of too low value to serve as nest material.😅

In this video, we’re going to take a look at the ruling in France and explain why, while it might be good news for Le Pen personally, it is actually probably bad news for the National Rally and thus the French right.
