Oh Please get off the toilet. What nonsense. Pure B.S. CIA propaganda, you should be ashamed of pissing your life down this toilet of Empire. NATO will never openly confront Russia because then they get their collective ass kicked. The US has for decades now been a paper tiger backed up only by the threat of Nuclear Armageddon. Shameful Empire.

blaming russia for 30 years of nato and western east ward expansion towards Russia is ok in the minds of the imperial west. Us naval vessels 12 miles from the coast of main land China is justified. The killing of 1 million Iraq, destruction of Libya, Syria, Yeman is ok in the mind most westerners. Racism double standers and lack of humanity is all he west has to offer the planet.

You need more balance. 1. Russia has conquered territory. Ukraine has not. 2. Russia is far more likely to win a war of attrition. 3. Russia has politicians who are more right-wing than Putin. This means that if there is any overthrown it will probably be from those who are more extreme than Putin. 4. China is much more aligned with Russia than with NATO.
This means Russia has more resources than your opening suggests and that NATO's support of Ukraine is, at the moment, far more shakey.
This brings us to: Russia is not the main power against the West, China is.

as a Latvian the tripwire system is too weak and i feel like the eastern and northern european countries bordering countries should have a huge NATO military personel since russia could easily overtake us, its scary being a russia neighbour and the west should protect us more then it already is protecting us

WashingtonDC has been pushing NATO for years and always throws a temper tantrum when Europe doesn’t play the US war games.

When will the EU actually do what’s best for its citizens instead of being duped into a proxy war that causes inflation.

Sadly it isn’t “Russia against the World” as the media portrays it… it’s more like “Russia against the West”, countries like India and China haven’t officially gone against Russia

    February 17, 2024 at 1:58 pm

This is actually a big change as it will require a lot of new bases, infrastructure, and redeployment of troops and equipment. it's not something that can be done immediately but will be a gradual shift that will really bring an anvil up to Russians boarder

  24. @AsbestosMuffins

    February 17, 2024 at 1:58 pm

tripwire is basically Defense-In-Depth, based on the idea that if he goes after NATO, he's gonna have to go after all of NATO or get pushed back. Now seeing Ukraine it's probably a good time to revise this policy since Russia will probably stop at where they want to and dig in

Re “Putin making bad decisions” – Azov / Bandera-type Nazis have completely infiltrated the gov in Ukraine. No matter what you spew out here – de-nazification in Ukraine was LONG overdue.

  27. @agl1925

    February 17, 2024 at 1:58 pm

Re “Russia can’t handle Ukraine”? Don’t dismiss Ukraine. Ukraine army had at the start of 2022 approx 260,000 professional regulars – trained to EU standard by EU instructors and armed quietly by C!A / EU since at least 2014 (this on its own represents BREAK of treaties Ukraine/EU signed with Russia in 1991 re NO expansion of NATO into Ukraine.
There is also approx 600,000 part-timers + even more now because of general mobilisation.
    Figures from Scott Ritter.
Since at least 2014 Ukraine military has been digging deep inc multilayer defensive positions in Donbas.
As you can now see, despite these advantages the Russian / Chechen military have took the Donbas area.
All done with a Russian / Chechen fighting force of approx 200,000 – properly rotated, fully supported by artillery – 60,000 rounds hitting the Ukrainian positions on average per day (Ukrainians’ response is approx 6000 rounds per day ie 10 x less).
At this point Ukrainians have no way of winning this – if you sell your gov to Azov / Aidar / Bandera-clones type of satanic Nazi ideology (the Zelensky gov has basically turned Nazi) – you get what is coming to you.
Finland gov does a total dis-service to its people by siding with Zelenky’s Nazis.

Another propaganda video. Government after government is falling in the west. Sanctions have backfired. Russia's economy has proven resilient. Despite the whole of the EU, UK, US, Canada and Ukraine's weaponry, Russia is winning the war in Ukraine. The Ukraine army has largely been destroyed. The west has run out of ammunition and weapons for Ukraine. Don't be news that pleases the rich. Don't be fake news. Be news that tells the truth.
