It is not yet in their interest as Russia is still strong enough to force a stalemate and upset balances. Russia may be tempted to elicit that response to turn the tide with strategic weapons. Russia Haa gone into a tactical huddle temporarily but would be working on other strategic options to recover aggressively. Remember the collapse and temporary tactical gains of Germany in WW2 upto Moskva and Stalingrad. This time the Russian counter could draw on Soviet Strategic policies of Assured Mutual Destruction. The conflict is not yet over till direct talks are effected transparently under neutral supervision. – The papacy override?!

i don't understand how an accidental russian missle strike on a nato member could trigger article 5, but an accidental ukranian strike wouldn't. Even if the missile was russian, it seems like article 5 would be silly

As you certainly know ukraine attacked Poland. Do you want activate article 5 against Ukraine??? 🤣🤣🤣
@thebattlefieldnick1
February 17, 2024 at 5:11 am
"Obviously a missile strike, wether accidental or not, would constitute an armed attack" yeah no, but going by that logic, looks like NATO needs to invade Ukraine now 😉

Ukraine treading on thin ice here… the logistics of an anti air missile travelling west just doesn’t make sense… surely all Russian missiles are heading west from the east, so any anti air missiles will be heading east towards the incoming missiles. Sounds like Ukraine tried a false flag attack on Poland in order to get us to trigger article 5. And the fact Ukraine didn’t instantly hold their hands up and allowed tensions to rise makes it look even worse. Deeply disappointed honestly.

In my theory I think the Ukrainian government fired those missiles into Poland to try and spark WW3 with Russia, it’s a theory but it has to make sense, for starters Poland is a NATO member and a attack on one member is a attack on all, second Zelenski from day one wanted a no fly zone over his country and NATO to get involved, which further indicates that Ukraine fired those missiles.
