   Look at the value of a rubel on a 1 year timespan.. In a year the rubel will have fully stabilized .. Zero is a very stable number.

    I'm Russian. I'm not a millionaire, 100% middle class, I'm not getting any poorer. Don't believe this report. 🤣 Inequality doesn't nessessarily mean that anyone, who is not a millionaire gets poorer when millionaires get even more rich. Inequality always increases, it's called capitalism, you should be familiar with it, not our invention.

    Interesting and informative video, as usual. Thanks. But regarding Russia's growing inequality, I note that Russia's Gini coefficient is lower than that of the United States. So I am left confused by your premise that Russia is very unequal and becoming more unequal. (I realize the US is unequal, too, but you seem to be saying Russia is significantly worse.)

    Russia is poorer in numbers but these numbers don't reflect everything. Russians still have almost everything for free. Free healthcare system of very good quality (definitely better that its free UK counterpart), free education of really good quality, cheapest energy possible and utility bills that would make 99% of European citizens cry. Plus restaurants and services light years ahead in terms of quality/price ratio. Infrastructure for sports and children is also on the next level compare to the every UK city I've been so far.

    And it also has great growth potential.

    But yeah. There is one hhhuuuuuuuuuggggggeeeee con. Very high political risks. Nobody knows what's next. That's why Russians quit trying. You can either leave or stay and numb yourself. Humans only have one life…

    Says, 'Russians are getting poorer'. Shows graph of a dramatic rise in the ruble. Well DONE for confusing us TLDR! You should use a 100 index with the date of the invasion as 100. Then, the graph would show the rouble at 76% indicating a loss of 23.07%.
