Now it's the president's turn to be suspected of illicit favoritism, abuse of power and influence peddling. All because he facilitated a 4 million euro medical treatment for two recently naturalized portuguese children.

Mate i would ask you to reasearch more about portugal work market and comun hurdles portuguese people go trough… Portugal never felt recovered, standards lowered size the last crisis so dont say portugal is a miracle cause it is not… they pass a wrong idea to the european union… but people inside the country dont earn enough to come out of misery, or if you havent finnished the school and you are 30 years old the goverment dont make your life easy if you want to continue your studies, so example if didnt finnish your 8 grade you would need to start from the 6 grade and the only way to do it is by telling your professional story it is called RVCC and they cut out night time classes, so in portugal the goverment just left a full generation without a way to progress, so many just give up and do miserable work for miserable pay, its easy to hear people working the full month for 800 euros inside europe… Please go deeper on the investigation and i bet you would be surprise how deplorable portugal and its people are getting by

Good to know that Portugal is trying to address their famous and pervasive government corruption, if that is what is happening. Here in the U.S. many voters have no problem with a corruption-infused government. We're even going to allow someone who has been committing crimes for decades, and who has announced plans to dismantle any semblance of democracy should he win election,to run for President!

The President of Portugal should go to as they are both the same. Letting in mass migration from Islam over 1million.
Antonio Costa has Indian passport and can always live there with his friend modi. These two have Betrayed Portuguese people and the Catholic Church . No work high rent why is anyone surprised thats what happens when you open borders. Still worst to come as getting them to leave is impossible.
Hope that our Christian brothers and sisters help by returning to there homeland and protect our faith our culture.
This includes our Brazilian brothers and sisters.

Everytime the socialists leave the government, the new incoming government (non-socialist) will discover that the economy is not what was expected. In fact it will be much worse and off course the new incoming government (obviously on the right) will have to take drastic unpopular measures to save the Portuguese economy. Meaning that the Socialists will win again because people forget easily. That is basically Portuguese economics.

Let me make this very simple. Because most European politicians are perfectly okay with disrespecting their voter base, bankrupt their party in order to bolster their political career to go on over to the EU, where most politicians are non elected representatives. Have much more power, connections, influence and no national crisis to take responsibility or accountability for.

There's no explanation except for the fact that the PM, the Ungovernment and the rest of the Masonic REGIME are a well orgnized MAFIA, Traitors to Portugal. And don't even try to invent a Manipulative (Demagogic and Fallacious) "excuse" for Portugal's CALAMITous situation, because you (this EU channel) are also part of the Masonic MAFIA.

  28. @alphapt9370

    February 19, 2024 at 9:45 am

Imagine the people listening to this, and believing Portugal is doing that well.
Salaries are one of the worst in Europe. You say minimum wage? I say that's what about the vast majority of portuguese people get paid. But surely people get raises, right? Yes. When the minimum wage gets adjusted. Usually bellow inflation. Buying a house is out of the question, as the prices are just outside most peoples reach, and renting pretty much asks you for over 70% of your salary. If you're lucky. And willing to commute.
Now, Costa, the safe hands. Fuck off with that. This asshole, before getting ellected, promised the moon. One of those promises was to adjust the salaries of teachers and nurses, that havent seen any change in over 20 years. Then, when ellected, denied to do so. And even said if it was done, he would quit before it happened. So that's his word, and his honor, explained. Shortly.
Lastly, I'm not happy that he quit. Because it sounds like it was a deal he took just so he wouldnt see a day in court. And if he's suspected of something, he is not above the law, nor better than anyone else.
Anyways, the tldr news is that this video could be classified as fiction, as most of it is innacurate.

  29. @sacoolman

    February 19, 2024 at 9:45 am

Talked so much nonsense and how great his socialists were doing, sooner or later they are going to fall…….💩💩

  30. @adrian4961

    February 19, 2024 at 9:45 am

Don't want to sound offensive but, as a portuguese person, I believe the positive perspective of Costa's work as PM that you transmitted is wildely innacurate. An "economic miracle" is the narrative that the Socialist Party has been trying to push and portray for years now, and it's an absolutely false one. After the work done by the government during the recession years, any kind of government, as incompetent as it may be (and this one tops the charts in that aspect), would have "performed an economic miracle". The socialist government of the past few years massively hindered the economic growth that could have been and to see them fall from grace is a desire that the few young portuguese citizens that haven't emmigrated yet have had for a long time.

  31. @filipasimoes9955

    February 19, 2024 at 9:45 am

Please get your facts straight before making videos like this one. "Portuguese economic miracle"? LOL. This is borderline offensive.

  32. @paulomartins1008

    February 19, 2024 at 9:45 am

    You pronounce it:

    Mars hello – Marcelo
    Rebel-O – Rebelo
    The – De
    So is Ah – Sousa

  33. @tresemeio

    February 19, 2024 at 9:45 am

You should do a follow up. There some strange things coming from the justice system. They have some confusion with the pm and the economy minister.

  34. @ilidiocarmona4827

    February 19, 2024 at 9:45 am

the problem is that every goverment we have had got involved in corruption and the country sufers for it ….we can vote all we want but the options are picked for us…..that means only those who will play by their rules ever gets ellected…..there isn't a honest politician that can win or even dream of winning an ellection…..europe must cut all funds to Portugal or watch very closely where the funds go to and even then they would find a way to steal money elsewere…..there is no solution!
