I'm late to the party, but here's a solution that can be implemented ANYWHERE in the world: halt population growth and work towards decrease.

All else will follow because of supply and demand. The only thing we have to see to work around is pension for the retired (read: redistribute global wealth EQUALLY, but that is utopian…)

Tell you what: have each of these farmers goes out to the Maldives, finds an islander living there, and convinces that islander that they should willingly lose their home to the waves for the sake of the neatherlands. Once they've done that, and personally taken responsibility for their actions, Then they can keep their cost saving BS.

Do not believe those estimations about emissions! The EU wants to ban all farming because they want to establish an imported food only market!
The protests are everywhere, not just in NL because these rules are being implied in other countries, too.
The EU is starting to illegally take the property by proclaiming " ecologically protected zones " on private land and the farmers are forbidden to touch it.
    It's a refined theft!

Any and all decisions must consider the effects on people rather than be driven by ideologies and climate hysteria. If governments didn’t make a habit of lying and collaborating with the WEF elites, then perhaps real problems could be solved by the real people. Go Dutch farmers!

As a EU citizen I think I speak for the majority when I say we are ready to sacrifice fuck all for net zero up until all the rest of the world has done the easy part, what purpose is there in cutting production when China will just make up for the loss of production and emissions? It has to be a collective effort done by all the top economies simultaneously, not by economic martyrdom.

    February 19, 2024 at 7:13 pm

when it rains nitrogen occurs naturally and there lies the problem, it not emissions, its nature and its good for the soils, ever heard the term nitrogen rich soil, thats right rich, its good for the soil.

We are farmers in North America as well and I can tell you there is serious problems with the way Dutch farming practices are conducted.

Dutch farmers spend enormous amount of money on new farm equipment, then they have to use farming practices to maximize profits in order to pay for it all. This sounds normal but they take it to another level, where small family farms that existed for generations are pushed out of business, they are extremely heavy into use of hazardous chemicals, they don't care what impact it has on environment, wildlife, or even nearby communities, as long as they make money. They destroyed millions of acres of wilderness and contaminated underground water tables.

Not only that but their farming practices drive up prices of food, their operating costs are always way higher than conventional farming but they don't care because they just pass the costs onto consumers, since the increase of arrival of Dutch farmers in North America the food prices have been sky rocketing at an alarming rates, and so have cancer cases.

Don't feel sorry for those guys, I really hope North American governments will go after them here too so they stop spreading cancer and start farming using safer practices.

bill gates is part of the world economic forum. a tech billionaire who is currently the largest land owner in america. They are trying to control our food supply. there is a farmers protest in Germany and in India. another thing wef is trying to do is to implement cbcd which is a programmable digital currency so they can track our movement and payment. tell us where we are allowed to spend our money and fine us if we dont do what they say. our card wont work if they detect we are going to a protest.

Even if the west could stop cows farting and other greenhouse gases tomorrow, it would not stop climate change. China is building 80 new coal fired power stations making a total of 191. China built a staggering 8100 KM of motorway last year. A major contribution to carbon dioxide is the production of cement. This ham-fisted green agenda danger of destroying western economies and IS creating civil unrest.

Dutch farmers, you need to chase your leader out just like Suri Lanka did. All these WEF affiliated leaders need to be chased out of their countries!! Need to exile them!! It's easy to sort out the members of the WEF!!

  46. @chrisbuckler9312

Where do these politicians think the food will be grown?
If they remove these hyper efficient farmers from their land, that lost food production must be made up from somewhere, so where?
Somewhere that is less efficient, that's where.
